We are just a few days from Christmas...
Today we read about the Visitation! Mary just conceived Jesus, God, the Creator of the Universe, Love itself. I believe that though she could have been worried about so many things, like what Joseph would say, what her family would do, if she would be safe on her journey to visit her cousin, etc., instead she was filled with so much joy because Joy itself was dwelling in her heart, in her soul, in her womb.
I believe Mary took off quickly to visit her cousin Elizabeth with her heart full of love and song! I believe she was so excited, so in awe, so fascinated by her God coming into her life, her world, that she was rejoicing, that she was singing, that she was full of smiles and light.
This week Jesus wants to enter our world and our hearts! When he comes, how happy, how excited, how joyful will you be? Let us ask for this grace!
